Very beatiful interface, nice concept but lot of bugs (url doesn’t work, video (mp4) doesn’t work…) I’m waiting a deep up-to-date !

After new release, it now does what it promises. :-) But I’m pretty sure that the developers will improve it a lot. (it needs some improvements) The ideia is wonderful and surely it will become a editor’s choice.

… or it is under documented and non intuitive. I tried to create a board. Included stuff. Stuff wouldn’t open necessarily as supposed. Or they would, sometimes. Unreliable, at least. I love the idea (if I did understand it): you have the elements of a presentation all visible in one screen and then you open them when you need them, allowing to non linear presentations. Sounds cool, but I simply couldn’t make it work after about half an hour of work. And I don’t belive in applications that take more than half an hour to present themselves to the user at least in their most basic functionality. Not in 2015. Sorry, uninstalling.

I like the idea a lot, but … … the first PDF I chose was displayed all black although the tile rendered correctly … whenever I click on a tile with a web link, the app crashes … exporting a board to iCloud Drive and importing the pbz in the iOS app did not work I want to use this app, but right now that is not possible.

It does not work on a Mac. Each time I click on a tile, the PopBoardz app either crashes (web page) or opens up a window (video player) but won’t play the file. Images seem to be the only type of file working in PopBoardz. Too bad, the idea is interesting.

If it was only to work like the IPad version. Can’t open anything on the Mac version… Useless at this time. In urgent need of an update

I down loaded this update and it still does not work. I ask for tips and nothing happens I click the help link and it is dead. This app looks really good but it does not work

After viewing the nice intrductory video, I set up my first board on my Mac. Clicking on the board made the app quit unexpectedly with the error message: EXC_BAD_INSTRUCTION (SIGILL). I visited the developer site, first to view all the help info. I was perturbed to find that most of the help “tiles” were just graphics with no link associated with them, and that most of the help is just a couple of videos. The app shown in the videos also seems to have more menu commands than the one I downloaded. Interestingly, there doesn’t appear to be any Preferences/Settings menu item. So I clicked on the Contact Us tile, which is live, and tried to send them my message. But then I got the message: "This form has reached the maximum number of entries allowed for this period. Please try again later. If you are the administrator of this form, please log into the system and review your account settings.” I took a look around the iOS app. That looks a bit more polished. But now I’m a bit worried about entering my Dropbox or Google Drive credentials into the app.

Doing 100’s of presentations per year, I was encoureged to try PopBoardz as an interesting idea. But the execution fails miserably. You can’t really present with this app. For example: 1. Once you import your PDFs into tiles and click on the PDF you get a blank screen rather than a presentation. 2. There’s no way to change the name of a board once you create it. 3. Adding a URL to a tile and trying to open it crashes the app. It looks more like an early alpha than a product that is ready for distribution. Once it actually works, though, it may be an interesting way to try to spice up you presentations.

Just because of the brand logo always on screen, it makes the whole app looks cheap. I wouldnt use it to do any company related projects. How come the tour video couldnt let you move it around or go full screen? It looks like it is not a native Mac app. Anyway, happy to see a new free app.

Useful app but the UI is so poorly designed. I am shocked that it is being promoted as one of the top apps by Apple. They really need to hire a few product designers to polish this up.

Great idea! But a bit buggy right now (with web content).

i’m using this app to organize my video/ audio files when I make a music video… very helpful

This app is genius and it’s fluidity between devices is great!

I drag/dropped an Atlassian Wiki page icon to my board and the app immediately crashed and shutdown asking if I wanted to send an error report to Apple. I tried several different wiki pages with same result. Tried to delete the wiki page and it immediately crashes the app after affirming to delete page. I tried Contact us and filled out the form. When I pressed submit. The form came back with some comment about “Too many emails submitted during this time…come back later” Not sure if it’s just my issue? I did drag and drop another internet portal url and that worked. Im running OS X Yosemite 10.10.3. I like the concept of this app if it would work for me. :

this is a very good idea, but the application crashes when I click on tiles.

Too bad. It simply doesn’t work on the mac. Videos don’t play, crashes often. And this is on a newer top end macbook pro.

Im using the latest Macbook Air, and the resolution of this app is so low compared to my laptop’s resolution! please update!! Also, when i save the webpages onto popboardz and try to open them, the app crashes, and therefore i cant organize my research properly on this app.
